This park is located on Hengelosestraat, Enschede. The location is here. The Abraham Ledeboerpark was formed in 1918 from a 16 ha. The Abraham Ledeboerpark derives its name from the textile industrialist who park there. The designer and the constructor was D. Wattez. This park is identified by a small variety of fields, grasslands, hedgerows, woods, farms, streams and brushwood. The original elements from 1880 include the coach house, the giant sequoia, tree rhododendronsand various parties, the ponds and the gateway to the distinctive eagle and roses. This beautiful camp landscape which is less than a kilometer from the heart of Enschede is characteristic of Twente.
This is very nice place to hold a picnic or even family gathering. Recently PPIE had a picnic there. More than 25 people were joined. That was really fun. Sunny day on “Goed Vrijdag” was perfect time for relaxing, especially with our friends.

Before the picnic we cycled together around the area behind the park. The village around the park was really cool. Ohh,,,that is a pity we do not get a picture when we were biking
. After biking the picnic was started. These all were our activities in the park; eating, talking, playing games, taking pictures etc.
